Fitch Solutions: Investors Show Great Interest in TRIPP Corridor

Baku: The TRIPP (Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity) corridor, formed at the initiative of the United States, has attracted significant investor attention, "Fitch Solutions" said in its forecast on Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the transition of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan to its initial stage, along with the growing geostrategic involvement of the United States in the region, has strengthened interest in new transit projects. The TRIPP corridor, which is expected to connect Azerbaijan with Nakhchivan via Armenian territory, could bring major changes to the region's logistics map.

The report notes that the core segment of the project will be managed by U.S.-backed structures, and a joint venture will be established to develop a paid transit zone. U.S. officials have stated that 'billions of dollars' in investment could be attracted to related projects.

Fitch Solutions believes that parallel initiatives in energy security, transport infrastructure, and logistics could further strengthen Azerbaijan's role as a regional transit hub. Against this backdrop, economic and strategic cooperation with the United States is expected to deepen further in 2026.

According to the institution, rising investment activity in the region could reshape both economic dynamics and the geopolitical balance.
