FM: Azerbaijan-Armenia Normalization Process Lays Solid Foundation for Regional Cooperation

Baku: "The full restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity has created a new dynamic in the region, opening up fresh opportunities for cooperation, trade, connectivity, and economic development," stated Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov during an event titled 'Cities at the heart of connectivity: Urban reconstruction and regional cooperation,' held on the sidelines of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Minister highlighted that the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia lays a solid foundation for regional cooperation and the development of mutually beneficial relations. This process is seen as pivotal in fostering a climate of collaboration and partnership in the region, which has historically been marked by tension and conflict.

The Minister emphasized that the recent developments have potential to significantly enhance regional cooperation, particularly in areas such as trade and connectivity, which are crucial for economic development.
