Baku: Georgian Prime Minister Kobakhidze is set to visit Baku tomorrow for the 10th-anniversary meeting of the Azerbaijan-Georgia Intergovernmental Commission, as announced by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. This announcement was made during a joint press conference with Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili, according to APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister Bayramov highlighted that a meeting with the President of Azerbaijan will also take place during the visit. He noted that political consultations between the two countries are held annually by the Foreign Ministry. These consultations have fostered a strong relationship, with Azerbaijani companies being the leading investors in Georgia. The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia is nearing the 1 billion mark, which reflects the positive dynamics of their bilateral relations. Minister Bayramov expressed optimism about achieving even greater economic figures in the near future.
