Baku: On June 2, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Anita Anand.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the ministers exchanged views on the current state and development prospects of Azerbaijani-Canadian relations. Additionally, they discussed regional issues of mutual interest during the conversation.
