Baku: Foreign direct investments (FDI) in Azerbaijan totaled 7 billion dollars last year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the repatriation of direct foreign investments was slightly higher at 7.2 billion dollars, as stated by Samir Nasirov, Director of the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, during a briefing.

Foreign direct investments from Azerbaijan to other countries amounted to 1.8 billion dollars. The countries that received the most investments from Azerbaijan included the UAE, Trkiye, the United Kingdom, and Georgia.
