Former Bulgarian President: “Azerbaijan showed the way of how to restore justice”

“Several months ago, I have been in the meeting of the UN General Assembly in the USA, at the United Nations Office at Geneva. But to be honest, I have to say that atmosphere here is fine”, the Former Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev who participated in the 8th Global Baku Forum, told journalists, APA reports.

He noted that the world leaders come together in the 8th Global Baku Forum and discuss problems pressuring the planet and their solutions: “This is very good. I express my gratitude to the organizers and President Ilham Aliyev for his leadership”.

The former Bulgarian President has congratulated Azerbaijani People for Victory in the Karabakh war.

“There are frozen conflicts, confrontations, instability, destruction and large numbers of refugees in various regions of the world. In fact, Azerbaijan has become a kind of example of how justice can be restored. Azerbaijan has demonstrated that it can restore justice after 30 years of injustice. Those territories belong to Azerbaijan and were occupied by Armenia. This was resolved on the basis UN Security Council resolution. I wish strong and lasting development to Azerbaijan in the coming years. Baku is strengthening its importance year by year, and this year Baku has doubled its importance,” Rosen Plevneliev noted.
