Baku: 'Efforts should focus on establishing a universally acceptable model; otherwise, conflicts and confrontations will continue,' said former Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic during the panel session on 'Multilateralism in Crisis: Rethinking Global Cooperation' at the 13th Global Baku Forum. She emphasized the need for clear objectives in global processes to prevent ongoing disputes and hostility.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the former president pointed out that power dynamics often overshadow international relations, and the enforcement of rules remains inconsistent. Grabar-Kitarovic advocated for a renewed focus on multilateralism, emphasizing the necessity of strong institutions and enhanced cooperation with the United Nations. She argued that multilateralism needs to evolve, adapt, and expand on a regional level to ensure the success of global efforts.

Grabar-Kitarovic also underscored the importance of leadership, human rights, and unity as fundamental components for maintaining global stability in the aftermath of crises. Her remarks highlighted the challenges facing the international community and the need for cohesive strategies to address them.
