The former deputy director of Alfa Telecom CJSC (MEGA trademark) has been detained. Press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.

The former deputy director and the heads of the IT department of MEGA company entered into an agreement with individual bidders, purchased equipment at an overestimated price.

Appropriate examinations were carried out in the course of the investigation of the criminal case. Preliminary damage amounted to about 20 million soms.

Based on the obtained evidence the ex-deputy director was placed in the temporary detention center of the State Committee for National Security. An investigation is underway.
