Baku: Former Romanian Prime Minister Petre Roman emphasized Azerbaijan's pivotal contribution to energy security amid current global challenges. Addressing the media, Roman highlighted the country's efforts to ensure the steady supply of fossil fuel-derived energy, a task of utmost importance in today's geopolitical climate.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Roman, representing a European Union member state, acknowledged Azerbaijan's proactive measures in securing energy resources. He expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan's readiness to address the ongoing challenges, underscoring the country's significant role in the energy sector.

Roman also praised the Global Baku Forum for its emphasis on international cooperation. He described the forum as a growing platform that consistently advocates for dialogue and problem-solving on the global stage. Stressing the need for collaboration, Roman conveyed a hopeful message of unity and cooperation to tackle worldwide issues collectively.
