New tashkent: On August 23, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev laid the foundation stone for the 'Azerbaijan' Park in New Tashkent.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the park is envisioned as a public space that will showcase the rich culture, history, and traditions of Azerbaijan. This initiative is expected to enhance the relationship between the people of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

The creation of the 'Uzbekistan' Park in Baku and the 'Azerbaijan' Park in New Tashkent is intended to symbolize the longstanding friendship and mutual respect between the two nations. These parks also reflect the strong bilateral relations that continue to develop between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
