Four Injured at Nakhchivan Airport in Iran’s Drone Attack

Nakhchivan: As a result of drone attacks, the injured persons at Nakhchivan International Airport have been admitted to the emergency medical department of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Hospital. Necessary medical assistance is being provided to the injured and their condition is under doctors' supervision, the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan said in a statement, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Asad Jafarov, born in 1998 and a resident of Nahram settlement in Babek district, sustained closed craniocerebral trauma and barotrauma as a result of the blast wave while working at the airport. Due to this, certain problems with his hearing ability have been observed. The victim was provided with initial medical assistance, and medical examinations are currently being conducted to assess his condition.

Mehdi Asgarov, born in 1996 and a resident of the Julfa district, was also injured in the incident. He sustained a wound to the shoulder area. Medical intervention was carried out, and the necessary treatment measures were taken. His treatment is ongoing.

Reyhana Valiyeva, born in 1986 and a resident of Nakhchivan city, suffered closed craniocerebral trauma and barotrauma due to the blast wave. Her treatment is currently continuing.

Zulfugar Zulfugarli, born in 1996 and also a resident of Nakhchivan city, sustained a blunt trauma to the back surface of the chest as a result of the explosion. He received medical assistance, and his treatment is ongoing.

According to doctors, the condition of the injured is stable, and there is no life-threatening danger. Necessary medical measures are being taken by healthcare institutions, and the patients' conditions remain under control.
