French Prime Minister Acknowledges Student Protest Grounds Amid Unrest

Paris:French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu has recognized the legitimacy of high school student demonstrations, which have persisted for a third consecutive week across the nation.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Lecornu addressed the issue in a speech broadcast on the government's X page, acknowledging that "young people's anger didn't come out of nowhere." He emphasized the need for the government and political parties to rebuild trust through dialogue, highlighting that many promises made to the youth have yet to be fulfilled.

Lecornu further announced that a new national education budget will be considered in parliament on November 12. He assured that the government would take pragmatic actions and clarified that there have been no instructions for law enforcement to use harsh measures against young citizens.
