According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the match, which took place at Corendon Airlines Park, saw Galatasaray emerge victorious with a decisive 4-1 scoreline. The result reinforced their position at the top of the league standings.
The game began with an early offensive move from Galatasaray in the 2nd minute. Lucas Torreira attempted a shot from outside the penalty area, but the ball rebounded off goalkeeper Abdullah Yigiter’s chest, eventually being controlled by Yigiter after a brief scramble involving Yunus Akgn.
Galatasaray took the lead in the 7th minute with a goal from Sane. The play was set up by a pass from Yunus Akgn, allowing Sane to enter the penalty area and score with a shot from the right diagonal, finding the net to the right of goalkeeper Abdullah Yigiter.
