Garabagh University to Launch Medical Faculty Next Year

BAKU— Garabagh University in Azerbaijan is set to expand its academic offerings by introducing a medical faculty beginning next academic year, the institution’s rector Shahin Bayramov announced.

According to Trend News Agency, Bayramov highlighted the university’s commitment to providing high-quality education and training future specialists, noting that Garabagh University is constructed to modern standards and equipped to meet the demands of contemporary higher education. The university, which admitted 1,154 students in its inaugural year, employs 160 staff members and plans to introduce new specialties over the coming years. The rector emphasized that the medical faculty will provide education in a novel context, aiming to transform Garabagh University into a research institution. Currently, the university operates from three academic buildings, housing faculties in pedagogy, engineering, humanities and social sciences, economics, tourism, and arts, along with an International Language Center.
