Gas prices in Europe fell to $888

Gas prices in Europe fell by 2.7% following the results of trading on Tuesday – to $888 per thousand cubic meters, according to data from the London ICE exchange.

The cost of the July futures on the index of the largest European hub TTF at the opening of trading amounted to $874 and changed little to this mark throughout the day, reaching a maximum of $910.6. By the close of trading, the quotes fell by almost 3% compared to Monday’s settlement price of $913.9 and amounted to $888.

Gas prices in Europe fell below $900 last February 22, 2022. Then the cost of the nearest futures fell to 885.2 dollars.
