Gas transport from Azerbaijan to Turkiye to be temporarily suspended

Transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Turkiye via the South Caucasus gas pipeline (Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum) will be temporarily suspended in August due to technical service on the gas pipeline, APA-Economics reports citing BOTAS.

In connection with planned technical service and repair works, which will be conducted on Shah Deniz-Turkiye gas pipeline from August 14 to 28, delivery of natural gas from Turkgozu entry point to national gas distribution network of Turkiye will be impossible during 14 days.

It has been noted that during the planned current technical service and repair works, no problem is expected in the demand and supply balance of the gas distribution network of the country.
