In January 2023, the production of oil products in Azerbaijan in January 2023 compared to January 2022 decreased in monetary terms by 9% – to 307.5 million manats ($180.9 million).

Growth in January 2023 was recorded in the production of gas oils (diesel fuel) – by 3% – 193.5 thousand tons, lubricating oils – by 62.9% – up to 5.7 thousand tons, petroleum coke – by 32.4% – up to 22.5 thousand tons, the monthly report of the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The production of motor gasoline decreased by 4.5% – to 115.9 thousand tons, jet fuel – by 16.8% – to 41.7 thousand tons, fuel oil – by 93% – to 2.3 thousand tons, liquefied gas – by 12.9% – up to 22.3 thousand tons, oil bitumen – by 36.5% – up to 10.1 thousand tons
