Geomagnetic Storm Strikes Earth, Reaches G3 Classification

MOSCOW – A G3-class geomagnetic storm, categorized as strong, has commenced on Earth, disrupting the geomagnetic field significantly, according to Mikhail Leus, a leading expert at the Fobos weather center.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, who reported the developments on his Telegram channel, the storm began intensifying on Saturday evening, transitioning from a moderate G1 classification to a G3 by 8:46 p.m. Moscow time. The disturbances are expected to fluctuate in intensity, possibly continuing until at least Sunday noon.
