Thirty years ago the first Israeli ambassador in Azerbaijan Eliezer Yotvat presented his credentials to President Heydar Aliyev, said George Deek, the ambassador of Israel to Azerbaijan on Twitter, APA reports.

“Today the first Azerbaijani ambassador in Israel Mukhtar Mammadov presented his credentials to President Isaac Herzog. History in the making,” the post reads.
