Tbilisi: In recent days, 44 foreign nationals have been deported from Georgia, as reported by APA’s local bureau, citing the Migration Department of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the deported individuals hail from a diverse range of countries including Trkiye, Azerbaijan, Iran, Jordan, Pakistan, China, Russia, Armenia, Nigeria, Turkmenistan, Ghana, Iraq, Yemen, Egypt, and Lebanon. The deportation process adheres to local legislation, which stipulates that foreigners expelled from Georgia are barred from re-entering the country.

The report further highlights that the total number of foreign citizens deported from Georgia over the past month has reached 152.
