Mepiskalaki: The 67th General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) began on June 30 in the village of Mepiskalaki, Kaspi Municipality, Georgia. The assembly is set to focus on the theme "The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Promoting Regional Cooperation: Innovation, Connectivity, and Sustainable Development in the Black Sea Region."
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Azerbaijan is represented at the assembly by Eldar Guliyev, Chairman of the Counting Commission of the Milli Majlis and head of the Azerbaijani delegation to PABSEC. He is accompanied by Musa Guliyev, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Labor and Social Policy; Eldar Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Disciplinary Commission of the Milli Majlis; and Members of Parliament Kamran Bayramov and Sabina Salmanova.
The Azerbaijani delegation is expected to contribute its perspectives on the issues that are part of the assembly's agenda. Prior to the General Assembly, a meeting of the PABSEC Bureau and Standing Committee was held on June 29, attended by Eldar Guliyev in his role as head of the Azerbaijani delegation to PABSEC.
