Tbilisi:The construction of a four-lane highway in Georgia, which will extend to the Azerbaijani border, is set to be fully completed by the end of 2031, as announced by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the highway will begin at the Sarpi border checkpoint on the Turkish border and extend to the Red Bridge border checkpoint on the Azerbaijani border, as well as the Sadakhlo border checkpoint on the Armenian border.
Prime Minister Kobakhidze emphasized that the highway will bypass Tbilisi, an important aspect for reducing traffic congestion in the capital city.
