Baku:A Georgian parliamentary delegation, headed by Deputy Chairperson Nino Tsilosani, visited significant memorial sites in Baku on Thursday.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the delegation began their visit by laying flowers at the grave of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, in the Alley of Honors to honor his contributions as the architect and founder of the independent Azerbaijani state.

Following this, the delegation proceeded to the Alley of Martyrs, where they paid their respects to the Azerbaijani heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country's independence and territorial integrity. Flowers were laid at the graves as a gesture of remembrance.

The Georgian delegation concluded their visit by stopping at the Eternal Flame monument, continuing their homage to the fallen.
