Tbilisi: 'Azerbaijan has consistently supported Georgia, even during its most challenging periods, demonstrating the strength of our friendship and brotherhood. The state visit of the President of Azerbaijan to Georgia today will further enhance and strengthen our strategic partnership,' Tengiz Sharmanashvili, a Member of the Parliament of Georgia, told AZERTAC.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Sharmanashvili emphasized that the visit will also contribute to accelerating peace efforts in the Caucasus. He expressed hope that lasting peace has finally been secured, highlighting the particular significance of Ilham Aliyev's visit to Georgia for further strengthening the existing relations between the two nations.
