Levan Makhashvili, Chairman of the European Integration Committee of the Georgian Parliament, also positively assessed the state visit of the Azerbaijani leader. He noted that both countries have been key participants in the most important trade routes in recent years. First Vice Speaker Gia Volski, in turn, stated that issues of economic importance for both countries were discussed during the visit of the Azerbaijani head of state. 'These issues are of particular importance for stability, and economic development has been one of the main priorities of the Georgian government in recent times.
