It is also a good thing that fossil fuel producing countries are hosting the climate conference, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Olaf Scholz said at the press conference held following an expanded meeting with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.

Olaf Scholz said that it is also important for hydrocarbon-producing countries to reduce the use of this fuel: “This gives us some chances. COP28 was successful, and I believe that COP29 will be successful in Baku.”
