Baku: Germany has appointed a new ambassador to Azerbaijan, the German Federal Foreign Office said in response to APA's inquiry. Dirk L¶lke, Germany's former ambassador to Oman, has been appointed as the new ambassador to Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Dirk L¶lke will begin his diplomatic mission at the end of July. This appointment follows the completion of Ralf Horlemann's diplomatic tenure as Germany's ambassador to Azerbaijan.
