Global Action Plan Unveiled to Combat Climate Change

Baku: A global action plan has been drawn up to combat climate change, announced Dan Ioschpe, the high-level champion for COP30 of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), during a video address on the second day of the ‘Baku Climate Action Week’ platform, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ioschpe emphasized the existence of a unified global climate action plan and the ongoing preparation of national adaptation plans for individual countries. He mentioned that measures will be implemented to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of these initiatives.

Ioschpe highlighted that several international organizations have already fulfilled their commitments and made necessary investments in the fight against climate change, positively affecting the lives of millions worldwide.

He further underscored the need for increased financial support to effectively address climate change challenges.
