Global Oil Demand to Grow at Faster Pace: Forecast

Baku: The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has announced its forecast for average daily global oil demand for 2026-2027, as stated in OPEC's monthly report, APA-Economics reports. According to the report, average daily global oil demand next year will amount to 107.87 million barrels, which remains unchanged from previous forecasts. This figure is 1.54 million barrels more than the forecast for 2026.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the forecast projects that the average daily global oil demand for this year will be 106.33 million barrels, slightly revised from the earlier forecast of 106.53 million barrels. This represents an increase of 1.17 million barrels compared to the 2025 indicator, which stood at 105.16 million barrels. It is noteworthy that the average global daily oil demand was recorded at 103.84 million barrels in 2024.
