Baku:The global market has witnessed a decline in the prices of gold and most other precious metals, with gold prices falling below the $4,000 mark.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, on October 23, the spot price of gold decreased by $28.75, or 0.71%, to $3,996.10 per ounce. Concurrently, December gold futures saw a drop of $52.50, or 1.29%, reaching $4,007.90.

In addition to gold, other precious metals have also experienced price declines. December silver futures fell by 1.92% to $53.95, while the spot price of platinum decreased by 0.97% to $1,553.31.
