Great Britain’s Piki Reels Club Visits Historic Sites in Azerbaijan’s Jabrayil District


Jabrayil: A 33-member traveler group from Great Britain’s Piki Reels Club, led by Belgian citizen Yves Bouvier, has commenced their visit to the Jabrayil district in Azerbaijan, as reported by APA. The group’s itinerary includes several historically significant sites, beginning with the Khudafarin Bridge in the Khudafarin village area.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the international travelers were given detailed information about the Khudafarin Bridge, a notable historical monument. The group also took commemorative photographs at the site, marking the significance of their visit. The travelers’ agenda further includes a visit to the Fuzuli district, where they will have the opportunity to observe the neutralization of mines and unexploded ordnance through controlled detonation.

From 2020 to 2024, a total of 11 trips to the regions of Garabagh and Eastern Zangazur have been organized by major international travelers’ clubs. These trips have attracted over 400 prominent international travelers from m
ore than 50 countries, showcasing the global interest in Azerbaijan’s historical and cultural sites.
