Baku: In line with the directives of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has launched another phase of the Great Return, relocating families to Aghdam city. As part of this phase, 110 families, comprising a total of 417 individuals, have been resettled in the city.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, this initiative is part of a broader effort to restore and repopulate the region following years of displacement due to conflict. The government has prioritized infrastructure development and the provision of essential services to ensure a smooth transition for returning families.
The relocation process involves a comprehensive plan to rebuild housing and community facilities, including schools, healthcare centers, and public amenities. This is aimed at creating a sustainable living environment for the residents. The Great Return not only focuses on physical relocation but also emphasizes economic opportunities and social integration for the returning population.
