Shymkent: The removal of transit restrictions to Armenia through Azerbaijan's territory is a significant development for Yerevan and opens prospects for unlocking the region's full potential, contributing to increased mutual trade, said Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan during a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union Intergovernmental Council held in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, TASS reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, in his speech, the Armenian Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the diversification of transport and logistics infrastructure in the South Caucasus would significantly boost foreign trade. Grigoryan highlighted the importance of the recent removal of transit restrictions, noting that it is a noteworthy event that can lead to the growth of mutual trade and exploitation of the region's full potential.
