Baku: Gultakin Hajibayli, a member of the National Council and former Member of Parliament, has been released following her testimony as a witness at the State Security Service.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Hajibayli's home was searched by the State Security Service in connection with a criminal case involving Ramiz Mehdiyev and others. As part of the investigation, Hajibayli was called in to provide her testimony as a witness.

It is noteworthy that Hajibayli was deported from Turkey to Azerbaijan on February 12. Prior to her deportation, on November 30 of the previous year, she was taken from her Istanbul residence to a police station and subsequently moved to theatalca Removal Center.
