Istanbul: ‘We welcome with satisfaction the steps taken toward lasting peace and stability between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as toward regional cooperation,’ said Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Trkiye, in a press statement following the informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Istanbul, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Hakan Fidan highlighted that these developments indicate that peace in the South Caucasus is already beginning to take shape on a practical level. He expressed a strong desire to maintain this momentum and to finalize it with a permanent peace agreement as soon as possible.
