Baku: HAVELSAN has successfully exported its advanced command and control system to Azerbaijan. A part of the critical capabilities developed within the framework of the Air Force Information System (HvBS), one of the important software solutions created by the Turkish defense industry company HAVELSAN, has been integrated into the Azerbaijani Air Forces' inventory.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the HvBS was developed to meet the operational needs of the Turkish Air Force, providing a state-of-the-art command and control infrastructure. This system enables the planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of air operations processes to be efficiently managed on a single digital platform.
The system now implemented in the Azerbaijani Air Force Command allows personnel in operation centers to work with a unified operational picture, manage task and operational data in real-time, and monitor critical operational data from a single location. This integration significantly enhances the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of planning, coordination, and execution processes, thereby accelerating decision-making capabilities.
