Ankara: Turkish company HAVELSAN is planning to enhance its collaborative efforts with Azerbaijan, as stated by HAVELSAN CEO Mehmet Akif Acar in a statement to APA's Trkiye bureau.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, HAVELSAN's new-generation management system, 'KOVAN', has already been exported to Azerbaijan. This system has been deployed at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense and addresses logistics and personnel management sectors. It is anticipated that the project will become fully operational soon.
The company official further mentioned that HAVELSAN is gearing up for expanded cooperation with Azerbaijan. Efforts are focused on joint production projects in the field of military simulators and training systems, with Turkish and Azerbaijani engineers expected to collaborate. Additionally, the implementation of the 'ADVENT' combat management system in the Azerbaijani Navy is an ongoing project.
