Head of ANAMA: 25% of Azerbaijan’s Agdam has been demined

More than 16 hectares of Agdam have been cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance, said the head of Institutional development of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov, APA’s correspondent reports from Agdam.

 

The head of ANAMA stressed that according to this year’s plan, more than 10,000 hectares of land will be cleared:

 

“Approximately 25 percent of the Agdam region has been cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance. A number of projects have already been completed in Agdam.”
