Baku: The special 'After the dark.' event, initiated by the Azerbaijan Children Public Union, took place with the participation of Arzu Aliyeva, Head of the Baku Media Center. The event focused on nurturing the creative skills of children residing at the Children's Shelter-Reintegration Center, fostering their self-confidence, and aiding their reintegration into society.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the event featured 21 handicrafts made from recycled materials, embodying the principle of ecological responsibility and showcasing the creative thinking of the children. These innovative creations gave a second life to otherwise useless items.

In addition to the handicrafts, children undergoing rehabilitation performed selected episodes from Azerbaijani films and delivered dance compositions. Esteemed Azerbaijani People's Artists such as Flora Karimova, Alim Gasimov, and Afag Bashirgizi, along with Honored Artist Fargana Gasimova and singers Samir Baghirov and Elnur Mammadov, joined the children on stage.

The event concluded with the playing of the hymn of the Azerbaijan Children Public Union, dedicated to abandoned children, reinforcing the event's theme of support and reintegration.
