At present, Russian army paratroopers are landing in Nikolaev by helicopters, Chief of Staff of the United Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Congress Khayyam Hagigatoglu told APA.

Hagigatoglu said that the Russian army has been conducting an operation in the city of Nikolaev for two hours: “I am currently in Kiev. This afternoon, tanks and special forces were sent to Kiev, and fighting began. Russian troops were prevented in many cases in Kiev. “Tens of thousands of Ukrainians have taken up arms, and people under the age of 60 are enlisted in the army and given weapons.”
