Baku: The 30th meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State News Agencies marking the 105th anniversary of the Belarusian Telegraph Agency BelTA has been held in Minsk, Belarus.
Heads and representatives of state news agencies of AZERTAC, Belarus (BelTA), Russia (TASS), Tajikistan (Khovar), Turkmenistan (TDH), Uzbekistan (UzA) attended the event.
The meeting focused on ways of combating disinformation and fake news, implementation of projects related to common history and culture. The parties agreed to continue holding joint seminars.
