Taking into consideration comments of the European Medicines Agency and US Food and Drug Administration, World Health Organization has sent a letter to relevant bodies of the countries, which use Pfizer/Biontech vaccine in vaccination against COVID-19, on the extension of shelf-life of the vaccine, Ministry of Health told APA.

According to information, in accordance with the letter, the useful life of Pfizer/Biontech medicine is extended from 6 months to 9 months. In connection with this, the useful life of the Pfizer/Biontech vaccine that is currently used in our country is until December 31, 2021.
