Baku:Heavy rain and strong winds are anticipated across Azerbaijan on October 3.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the National Hydrometeorological Service reports that Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will experience intermittent heavy showers, with thunderstorms possible in some areas. The rain is expected to intensify overnight from October 2 to 3 and continue into the morning, accompanied by strong north-easterly winds.
In Baku and Absheron, nighttime temperatures will range from 13-15°C, increasing to 15-17°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is predicted to rise from 764 mmHg to 768 mmHg, with relative humidity between 80% and 90%.
Across other parts of Azerbaijan, some areas will see intermittent showers, with the potential for heavy and intense rainfall, thunderstorms, and hail. Mountainous regions may experience snow, and fog is possible overnight and in the morning. Moderate westerly winds are expected to strengthen occasionally.
Regional temperatures are forecast to range from 12-16°C at night to 16-20°C during the day. In the mountains, temperatures could drop to 2-5°C at night and rise to 5-8°C during the day.
