Baku:Inclusive education is a key focus of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation's activities, according to Aydan Ramazanova, a representative of the Foundation. Ramazanova addressed this topic during the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku, emphasizing the necessity of not only ensuring access to education for girls but also enabling them to apply their acquired knowledge in the workforce and entrepreneurial endeavors.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, Ramazanova stressed that maintaining girls' presence in schools involves more than just classroom access. It requires creating a supportive educational environment, fostering family understanding of education's importance, and helping girls link their education to future independence.
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation, as part of its international initiatives, supports educational infrastructure globally, focusing on inclusive education. This includes projects to enhance educational access for individuals with physical disabilities and improve teachers' abilities to work with students with varied educational needs.
Ramazanova highlighted specific education and social support projects in Burkina Faso and initiatives in Niger aimed at expanding social and economic opportunities for women impacted by conflict. She reiterated the importance of combining education with vocational skills and real opportunities, advocating for an environment where women can effectively utilize their knowledge and skills.
