Baku: "To date, 32 mass graves have been discovered, and 328 missing persons have been identified through DNA analysis," Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, wrote in a post on the social media platform X on August 30, marking the International Day of the Disappeared.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Hajiyev emphasized the need for Armenia to provide accurate and comprehensive information regarding the fate of missing Azerbaijani citizens, including the locations of burial sites. He highlighted that such cooperation is fundamentally a humanitarian obligation and crucial to resolving the decades-long uncertainty faced by thousands of families.

Hajiyev further noted that despite challenging terrain and weather conditions, along with the risks posed by mines and unexploded ordnance, search operations are continuing with all available resources and advanced technologies.
