Baku: Azerbaijan does not plan to participate in the USD 7 billion financial initiative concerning Gaza that was discussed at the recent Board of Peace meeting. Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, made this announcement via his X account.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Hikmet Hajiyev clarified Azerbaijan's position on the matter, stating that while they currently do not plan to partake in the financial initiative, future participation in investment projects in Gaza through the Board of Peace remains a possibility.

Hajiyev further noted that Azerbaijan, as a founding member of the Board of Peace, continues to support the organization's goals and objectives.
