Hikmet Hajiyev Highlights Role of Shusha Media Forum in Post-Conflict Narratives

Shusha: The Shusha Global Media Forum is paving the way to cover life in the liberated territories during the post-conflict period, stated Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration. He made these remarks during a panel titled “Innovative Approaches: Media Literacy in the Digital Era” at the III Shusha Global Media Forum, as reported by APA’s correspondent in Shusha.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Hikmet Hajiyev emphasized Shusha’s unique historical significance, mentioning that the city has been home to numerous poets and cultural figures. He pointed out that for many years, the occupied cities of Azerbaijan had been centers of disinformation, citing the Khojaly genocide as a significant event. The forum has welcomed guests from various parts of the world, highlighting its importance in shedding light on the realities of life in these territories following the conflict.
