As part of the visit of a delegation led by Chairman of the Azerbaijani State Committee on Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov to Turkey, the House of Azerbaijan and the Shusha Convention Center have been inaugurated in Ankara.

Prior to the event, Chairman of the State Committee Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the Office for Compatriots Living Abroad and Related Communities of Turkey Abdullah Eren and Head of the Turkey-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Samil Ayrim laid flowers at a bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ankara and honored his memory.

Then, a ceremony to open the House of Azerbaijan and the Shusha Convention Center was held with the participation of the Azerbaijani and Turkish delegations. The event began with the performance of the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Turkey.

The participants watched a video titled “Concert on Jidir Duzu plain”.

The official opening ceremony continued with a concert program.
