Huawei makes donation to children from Khazar district, Baku

At the beginning of the new term, Huawei donated school supplies to the children from Khazar district of Azerbaijan Republic. The donation ceremony was attended by the head of Executive Authority of Khazar district, Milli Majlis members Soltan Mammadov, Rauf Aliyev, General Director of Huawei Technologies Azerbaijan LLC Xu Hui, Vice President of Public Affair and Communication Dept Eurasia Region Multi-Countries of Huawei Chen Liang and other officials.

 

Elshan Salahov, the head of Executive Power of Khazar district, spoke about the attention and care given to education in Azerbaijan. He noted that the initiatives of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev regarding education are highly appreciated by society.

 

Milli Majlis member Soltan Mammadov noted that the President and the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan were particularly sensitive to martyr families and veterans. He stressed that at the initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva new schools were built in the Khazar district by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and several schools were renovated.

 

“We will spare no effort to keep cultivating more young talents. Apart from business operating, CSR activities always bring inspiration to keep us moving forward.”, David Xu, Huawei Azerbaijan General Manager stated.

 

At the event, about 50 students from minority families were granted with school supplies and school uniforms.
