Baku: A hydropower plant is planned to be built in the Ordubad district, as announced by President Ilham Aliyev during an interview with Azerbaijan Television in Nakhchivan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted the recent adoption of a State Program aimed at the overall development of Nakhchivan. An action plan focused on irrigation has also been prepared, and a large delegation was sent to the region to analyze all relevant issues. The president confirmed that work on the project has already commenced.
